Association structure
Veterinary drugs, additives and biologicals importers association composed of various pillars. The Board of Directors which is elected by the general assembly, as the highest rank pilar. The secretary is elected by the Board of Directors who works under the Board supervision. The association secretary acts as coordinator and planner connecting the Board of Directors, commissions, working groups and consultants and overseeing performances of different sectors of the secretariat.
Board of Directors
The association owns 3 active sections of drug, vaccine and additive having their own representatives in the Board of Directors. The Board consists of 7 experienced and well known members including 2 representatives of drug section, 2 representatives of vaccine section, 2 representatives of additive section and 1 independent representative.
Secretariat
The secretariat composed of public relation, administrative, financial, technical and logistic divisions working under supervision of the secretary. According to Iran Chamber of Commerce evaluation, the association and its secretariat show significant progress and advancement during last recent years.
Commissions
The association owns 5 expertise commissions of technical & registration, legal & trade facilitation, distribution & PMS, education & research and recruiting & membership chaired by experienced, well known and skillful persons chosen by the Board of Directors. These commissions are consultative bodies convened for technical and expertise investigations in various fields and acting as technical and executive arms of the Board in the given technical fields and fulfilling the delegated tasks by the Board and reflecting their comments and views for adopting final decisions by the Board.
Working groups
The association owns 3 main working groups of drug, vaccine and additive importers chaired by experienced, well known and skillful persons chosen by working groups members. The working groups examine the current problems, adopt appropriate measures and prepare plans to defend the interests of the related section.
In addition to above main working groups, ad hoc working groups will be organized by the association, just in case, aiming at investigating joint subjects in relation to drug, vaccine and additive to offer proper approaches to the Board of Directors.
Magazine
The license for publishing the association quarterly magazine titled with” Veterinary & animal husbandry preparations” was collected from Press deputy of Ministry of Guidance in 2019 and already 12 issues of this magazine have been published by far. This magazine intends to reflect scientific and analytical reports in relation to livestock, poultry and aquatics industry to the high-ranking managers and officers in organizations, ministries, schools of veterinary medicine and veterinary products importers aiming at impacting veterinary official decisions and policies. In addition to association members, provincial veterinary General Directorates, schools of veterinary medicines, Ministry of Jahad Agriculture and Iran and Tehran chambers of commerce received the magazine.
